Sunday Details
Whether you've attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions. We at Renew want to welcome you well and invite you into a good experience of worship and meeting people.
Here’s some information that should help:
We have one service that meets beginning at 10:00am on Sunday mornings in our main sanctuary.
Wear what you want! We welcome jeans, t-shirts, shorts, slacks, dresses, bowties … whatever! You’ll find most folks dressed pretty casually--even the pastor. The only rule we have is: Come as you are!
Renew is located at 2721 164th ST SW
in the Northpointe area of Lynnwood. We’re on the corner of 164th ST SW
and Manor Way just kitty corner from Five Guys Burger and MOD Pizza.
WHAT'S THE SERVICE LIKE?
First of all, you won't be pointed out or made to feel awkward in any way. You will have a meaningful, stress-free experience in a safe place...and you might even have some fun!
Each service is about 90 minutes. During the first 15 minutes of the service you'll enjoy some modern worship music led by our Worship Band. We'll have the words to each song up on the screen, so you can sing as much as you feel comfortable!
After a few songs, some readings, and a prayer there is usually a sermon followed by a closing song. For the youngsters, there is a staffed nursery (ages 0-4) every Sunday which opens during our Greeting time. On every 2nd and 4th Sundays, the Renew Kids (K-3rd grade) and Renew Middlers (4th-7th grade) are dismissed to their classrooms during the service. On every 1st and 3rd Sundays, the Renew Youth Ministry (8th-12th grade) are dismissed for Bible study. Youth will rejoin for Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Of course children and youth of all ages are welcome to stay in service anytime--we don't mind kid sounds during worship! There is a kids' area in the back of the sanctuary with a table and chairs along with activity boxes as an option.

Every 3rd Sunday, we gather for Open Table Sunday. We have a more interactive worship service and all ages are in the sanctuary for an all-family worship. We also share Communion with one another and then continue the Renew Family time with a potluck afterwards.
All of our entrances are wheelchair accessible. There are slip-resistant ramps at the 164th st. entrance and the breezeway entrance to the Annex building. All other entrances are on the parking lot level. There are disabled parking spaces on the Southwest and Northwest corners of the building closest to our two main entrances. We have a wheelchair accessible unisex bathroom across from the Fellowship Hall in the church.
Welcome to Renew!
We hope to become your multiethnic church home.
